MSP and Enterprise

Run verified backup and recovery across tenants

XReplicator MSP and Enterprise licensing is for teams that manage backup and disaster recovery across multiple customers, departments, or larger protected fleets.

From one environment to managed operations

Community Edition is the right starting point for a single-tenant evaluation. MSP and Enterprise licensing adds the commercial path for organizations that need tenant separation, user management, larger fleet coverage, and guided rollout support.

Commercial boundary

Community is single tenant. MSP is commercial.

Community Edition is free for up to 5 protected VMs in one tenant. MSP multi-tenancy, tenant isolation, user management, larger fleet licensing, onboarding, and support are commercial Enterprise capabilities.

What MSP and Enterprise Adds

Multi-tenant operations

Operate separate customer or business-unit environments from one commercial XReplicator deployment.

Tenant isolation

Keep protected systems, restore points, operators, and operational ownership separated by tenant.

User management

Support multiple operators with access aligned to the customers, teams, or environments they manage.

Recovery-first service delivery

Use backup status, restore verification, immutable retention, and recovery workflows as part of your managed backup offering.

MSP Evaluation Checklist

  • Start with a representative non-production customer or business-unit environment.
  • Confirm backup server deployment model, storage target, retention policy, and access model.
  • Protect a small set of Windows and Linux servers before adding a larger fleet.
  • Run a first restore test and document the expected recovery workflow.
  • Review tenant boundaries, operator access, and reporting requirements before production rollout.

When to Move Beyond Community

  • You manage multiple customers, departments, or isolated environments.
  • You need more than one operator in the web UI.
  • You need tenant-specific access and operational separation.
  • You need to protect more than the Community Edition VM limit.
  • You want onboarding, rollout guidance, or commercial support.

Pricing and rollout

MSP and Enterprise access is handled through a commercial conversation. Final licensing, VM limits, onboarding scope, support model, and rollout terms depend on your operating environment and agreement with XMigrate.
